Does she stop walking and leave one foot cocked up in the air?

One issue frequently encountered with Avatar Studio is that you may find you avatar stops walking and one calf is cocked up in the air at the knee which looks rather silly. To avoid this, in Avatar Studio you need to edit the Stand gesture. Click on the upper and lower leg and make sure there is a point at step 1 and step 9 for each body part (Drag point one to the point 9 slot to copy the same gesture to the last location).

This way when she stops walking, her feet know to go to the neutral Standing position (it completes the last step taken while walking and gets both feet back on the ground). This "anchor" to the neutral or standing position is missing from the Avatar Studio Stand gesture and must be added by hand or we will all look like chickens.
